C2RO Cloud Robotics is looking for a Director of Business Development that will be located in China and will report directly to the Vice President of Sales. The candidate will work remotely and will be strategically located close to key partners and major Chinese cities. The candidate will build and maintain relationships with key robot manufacturers as well as early adopter enterprise customers that want to introduce robots and artificial intelligence technology into their business. The candidate will leverage their knowledge of enterprise software and contacts in the enterprise service industry to build a deep pipeline of prospective partners and customers for C2RO.
Director of Business Development Responsibilities
Build and manage a pipeline of potential prospects and pilot programs with the goal of enabling sales and revenue growth within Asia, with a particular focus on China and Taiwan.
- Identify, profile, and engage new end-customers that are early adopters of robot technology and are opportunities for C2RO Cloud Robotics software
- Manage strategic relationships with robot manufacturers and key technology partners to accelerate go-to-market in the local geographies and service end-customer needs
- Provide market feedback to the C2RO leadership team regarding competitive offerings, prospect needs and customer requirements
- Assist in logistics and scheduling of C-level meetings with partners and customers, as well as relevant industry trade shows and marketing events.
Director of Business Development Skills and Qualifications
- At least 5+ years of relevant experience and track record in developing new technology opportunities for enterprise technology segments such as government, convention centers and retail, healthcare, and education
- Experience in maintaining long term strategic relationships with C-Level Executives within Tier1 manufacturing and technology companies
- Self-motivated and result oriented individual that can work remotely from the core team
- Dynamic and entrepreneurial, with strong sales instincts and natural networking ability
- Must be comfortable with a dynamic start-up environment (lots of urgency, limited resources, evolving market dynamics)
- Must be able to travel extensively with experience in managing sales and business development budgets
- Communicates adequately in English
- Bachelor degree in a relevant field is a strong plus
